About NWACC

A description of our funding and the objectives of NWACC

Dr. Richard Wolff submitted the grant request to NWACC for funding to support the Wireless ECE Bot project at Montana State University.  In May, the project group learned that NWACC had awarded us with a Proof of Concept Grant Award titled "Wireless Mobile Robots: A Tool for Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Instruction".  We are thankful for the opportunity to work with them to explore the many possibilities of this robot.

What is NWACC?

NWACC is the NorthWest Academic Computing Association.
To summarize their strategic objectives, they have a vested interest in improving the research and training development in the Northwest.  Specifically, their current objectives include (from their website):

  • sponsoring regional workshops and other training opportunities;
  • hosting conferences, executive retreats, and other events;
  • providing grants to support proof-of-concept exploration, collaborative projects, and other technology initiatives;
  • recognizing outstanding IT practices and projects through annual awards.
