Our goals for this semester are to design and build a circuit to send video over a CAN bus. The circuit needs to be rugged and robust enough to be attached to the outside of a tractor. The image received from the camera will be viewed on a computer in the cab of the equipment. The CAN bus video system will also be controlled through the CAN bus from the cab. The design should meet these specifications.

• Low power- The camera, controller and CAN transceiver need to run on the +5v supplied by the CAN bus.
• Sufficient resolution with out consuming the CAN bus- The CAN bus transfer speed is 1 Gbit/s.
• Software needed for camera control and image collection.
