  • Cost no more than $2500
  • Supply and regulate power and filter AC noise
  • Contain antenna lightning arrester for surge protection
  • Support two or more antennas collecting independent data
  • Provide an antenna tuning aid to simplify
  • Have a graphical user interface (GUI) that is easy to use
  • Be remotely configurable

In addition to the Level One Requirements, the final design must meet the following specifications:

  • IP67 specifications (NEMA 6)
  • ISO 11784 and 11785
    • 134.2 kHz HDX RFID tags
    • Cost less than $2500
    • Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity specifications
    • Multiplex between two antennasStore up to 10 million detection events in non-volatile memory.
      • Each event must contain tag ID, initial time of detection, and duration time (up to 0.01 s)
      • Input voltage range of 7 – 24 V
      • Antenna length of 10 – 50 ft.
      • Read range of 3 – 5 ft
