The final design will…
- Comply with IP67 environmental protection
- Cost no more than $2500
- Supply and regulate power and filter AC noise
- Contain antenna lightning arrester for surge protection
- Support two or more antennas collecting independent data
- Provide an antenna tuning aid to simplify
- Have a graphical user interface (GUI) that is easy to use
- Be remotely configurable
In addition to the Level One Requirements, the final design must meet the following
specifications:
- IP67 specifications (NEMA 6)
- ISO 11784 and 11785
- 134.2 kHz HDX RFID tags
- Cost less than $2500
- Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity specifications
- Multiplex between two antennasStore up to 10 million detection events in non-volatile
memory.
- Each event must contain tag ID, initial time of detection, and duration time (up to
0.01 s)
- Input voltage range of 7 – 24 V
- Antenna length of 10 – 50 ft.
- Read range of 3 – 5 ft
