Dr. Riley Logan

"The Fate of a Photon"

Dr. Logan is currently a reasearch engineer in the Optical Remote Sensor Labratory. He will be talking about his past and present research as well as his future reasearch goals. We will be welcoming Dr. Logan to the ECE Faculty in August of 2025.

Clarissa M. DeLeon

"Defining What Success Means to Me in Graduate School"

Clarissa M. DeLeon (she/her) is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Arizona's Wyant College of Optical Sciences, working with Professor Meredith Kupinski in the Polarization Lab. Her research combines instrument development with image science to study polarized atmospheric scattering. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Optics and Photonics from Montana State University. As a proud Latina, Clarissa is dedicated to increasing Latinx/Hispanic representation in STEM. She aspires to become a professor, advancing research while mentoring the next generation of scientists. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and reading.
