Our Level 1 Requirements have been accelerated from the senior capstone course schedule so as to meet AUVSI Robosub competition specifications.

  • The sub must pre-qualify for the competition by March 1st, 2018.
  • The sub must meet all AUVSI Robosub Competition Rules.
  • The sub must weigh no more than 125 pounds.
  • The sub must not exceed our allotted budget of $10,000. 
  • The sub must be designed for modularity, allowing future teams to more easily modify and adapt the design.
  • The sub must extend the run-time of the current design, currently set at 17 minutes.
